A friend of mine was one of the most religious people I have ever met and his boyfriend came to know Christ because of him. If they could have married that would have been an easier path. Instead, these two men filled with light felt as if the God they know loves them but his followers do not. It made me very sad to see.

I'm not denying them the legal right to marry- there is no legal basis to deny it.
However, if they claim to be Christians, they have to believe the Word Of God is truth. And that very Word tells them they are living in sexual immorality- in short, they are living in sin.
Homosexuality is no worse than any other sexual immorality. Don't get me wrong there. In the eyes of God, all sin is equal. But homosexuality is still sexual immorality. It is, even as is adultery and other sexual sins, a perversion.
