You know I was wondering about that too! How on Earth did Bobby of all people get possessed? The thought that he wouldn't have some type of protection for HIMSELF against that when he's given protection to the boys already is ridiculous. Eh, it was shoddy writing right there. They just glossed over it to have a big emotional 'dad' son moment when he saved Dean and to get him into the wheelchair.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too.

I mean...at least a throwaway line would have explained it.

Dean: What the hell happened back there?
Bobby: Damned black-eyed bitch tore off my amulet.

That's it. About 1.5 seconds.

Oh well. The episode still kind of rocked, although it had it's problems. (Sort of the problem the first part of Heroes S3 had- too much, too fast, not enough time to give any of it the added weight it deserved.)

True about the premiere. All great elements but so much crammed into it that it all just zoomed by. Hard to stop and think about what was going on.
