Good LORD! I just found out that some East Coast newspaper published an article on the online response to the Wells College issue, and when publishing quotes from various blogs, they included not just my username, but my FULL name, location, and occupation! Shit! How did they find you? I mean, how did they get all the info and add it up? That is so not cool! Can you do anything about it?

I cut and pasted a letter to the college in an earlier entry, which included my name. The rest is in my bio. They just put it together. My fault for including the name, but it was still not cool of them to publicize!

That royally sucks, on so many levels. Tying your personal info with your username - what's the point of an anonymous username then? And I can't believe they quoted you without your permission. That's just wrong.

Would you add me to your flist? I don't want to miss your future entries.

I think you should also consider writing an irate letter to the paper. I mean, yes, blogs are, basically, public, but that doesn't mean you want to see yourself splashed all over the newspaper. The Syracuse paper does stupid things like that all the time.
