Just FYI -- if you're doing a trimming of your friendslist, base your decision about me on whether you read my LJ or not. I never respond to the "reply if you want to stay on my friendslist!" posts, because if you want to cut me, you should cut me. It's nothing personal. *shrug*

*CLINGS TO DREA*

But I can't lose our Drea! *wails*

Who would be Sam and Kevin in the RP if she escaped?

*blinks* I'm not going anywhere! I've just seen several people with the "comment to stay on my FL!" post, and thought I'd make my feelings clear.

I don't get that either. Obviously, if I do not talk about things that interest a person, I would not expect them to keep me on their flist. My status does not depend on their preferences.

I'm quiet enough in terms of commenting and so forth that I do like to say "Keep me, please" if it's someone I know to post interesting things under friendlock, in which case (at least from my perspective) it's not just a question of whether they read me but of whether they know I'm still interested in reading them. If they still want or need to drop me, that's fine.

I ask because I really don't want to hurt someone's feelings, who likes being on my flist. :-)

Oh when I put up that tye of post the other day, I didn't expect people to answer the question in some type of popularity contest, I just put it up in case someone really, really didn't want to be cut.

Yours wasn't the only one lately, don't worry. This wasn't an attack on you. ;)

Oh, I didn't think it was an attack. Was just explaining one reason why people do it. Sort of a disclaimer to ward off any potential nastiness.

*nods* I understand why people do it, but I've been seeing so much of it I thought I'd set out my general feelings on the matter. Personally, I'll friend just about anyone who friends me, just because all of my posts are locked due to unfortunate publicized connections between my LJ and my RL. I solve the problem of "too much to read, aiee!" by making a custom default view. I understand why others don't go the same route, but my view is pretty much if you don't want me on your Flist, you don't whether I comment or not. ;)

I was searching uder interests and found your page. Its nice to see other girls with interests in x-men. I'm in love with Psylocke, but everyone keeps killing her off. Have you ever watched the animated series?

*laughs* Which one? The 90s cartoon is how I got into X-Men, really, and I watched Evolution when it first came out. Not a Psylocke fan, though. I'm a big Summers fangirl. *points above*

I never really got into Evolution, but I am recording the 90's animated series. I have always loved Psylocke, even though they keep killing her off and I like Jubilee, even though she is a big cybaby sometimes. Were you disappointed that Evolution was taken off the air?

No, because I'd already stopped watching it by then. It was amusing to see the different take on the characters, but I wasn't really a big fan of it.
