oh holy shit. It still seemed too short, even though it ran for almost two hours, but holy shit it was amazing. I felt really cheated with Phoenix's storyline, though, since she's such a fascinating character with all this depth to her story, and she got shoved to the background more than she should have, but overall it came together rather nicely. Rebecca Romijn or however her name's spelled looks surprisingly like Charlize Theron did in Aeon Flux with the dark hair. It was odd. And Pyro is oh so laughable with the hideous blond hair, and not as entertaining this time around -- he was more just flat-out evil in this one as opposed to the snarky and questionably good guy from X2 -- and the showdown between he and Bobby was depressingly brief, but feh. Still entertaining. The Danger Room sequence was cool, and gave us at least a glimpse of what the Sentinels would look like on film.

Phoenix though, man. Even if I did feel ripped off, she had some seriously bad-ass sequences, holy crap. So, so cool. The scene where Magneto and Xavier go to her house for the second time to try to reclaim her after she's gone nutso, holy crap, that was just amazing. Honestly gets my vote for the best sequence in the movie.

Storm...surprisingly, didn't bother me that much this time. Halle Berry in that role still makes me want to pry my eyes out in that role, which might explain why I squeed a little EVERY TIME Callisto (who wasn't Callisto in the SLIGHTEST, holy shit) kicked her ass six ways from Sunday.

I really didn't expect them to kill off/depower all those people though, that was crazy. For those of you who stuck around for the extra scene at the end, it really left the door wide open incase they really do want to continue the series.

OHHH so cool. So very cool. I'm still tingly. Even though I feel like something somehow was missing, but whatever. I still enjoyed it immensely. GO SEE IT.
