*Ginta couldn't help but smile as he looked at the coordinates that Aya had given him for their rendevous. He knew them all to well, identified them with a place that he'd started thinking of as "theirs".

He appears on the Beach with the usual zap, crackle, pop that comes with PINpoint transport. The cloth parcel containing the venison is deposited on the table before he reaches out to gather her in an embrace.*

Hello. *warm smile* You really went all out, didn't you?

*Ginta only vaguely recognizes a few of the romantic cliches from the times he'd watched TV in Kagome's time. Still, he has no problem appreciating the effort that went into all of this.*

She expected to be nervous or scared on their first date but she just feels happy. The closet thing she has to compare it was the excitement she used to get over Christmas when she was little. She giggles. It feels wonderful to be held by him.

“This? Oh, no. It was nothing.” She finds it impossible to keep from grinning. She leans forward to give him a kiss on the cheek.

*The comment about it being nothing gets an eyebrow raise in addition to the lopsided smile that the kiss had summoned.* Well, for nothing it certainly does look and smell good.

*Apparently he's not the only one who thinks so because, during their greeting, a small sandpiper had alighted on the table and was eyeing its contents curiously. Ginta reluctantly disengages from the hug in order to swat at the bird. It gives an alarmed little squawk before flapping off and landing on the sand near the edge of the table. It seems to still be hopeful for the odd scrap or two.*

Aya laughs.

"We should eat before while we still have something left to eat." Then they can leave everything else for the birds. The birds should celebrate too.

She sits down at the table and takes a small savage bite out of a chocolate dipped strawberry. It felt like a dessert-first kind of evening.
