:: She turned the silver and blue tea pot over in her hands. Everything was so much the same here, she could almost believe that everything that happened since she woke up wasn't real. Or a least everything that happened in the past few days. The demon had reconstructed the house perfectly, down to a stain on the rug from a food fight she had with ( Read more... )

A flock of doves land and Gabriel appears from them. "Aya, something seems different about you?" Gabriel has also changed, he looks around 23 years old.

She watches the doves in awe. White and wings and feathers so beautiful. And the power coming off of it feels interesting.

He's changed too. She doesn't recognize him at first.

"I am different. There's..." She looks down at her hands. She doesn't know how to explain to an Angel of the Lord.

"There's a what?" Gabriel says with a concerned voice.

She takes a step away from him.

"I let something stronger than me become part of me so that I could be stronger."

((Hey, you remember what we were talking about around last week, concerning Aya-chan? I just realized that I have an obvious answer staring me straight in the face... not sure why I didn't think of it before. Anyway, if you were still interested? If you've come up with other plans, that's fine.))

((I'm very interested. Thank you! I'd like to talk about it in AIM next time you are available.))

"My, my... It seems quite a bit has happened to our little mouse while we weren't paying attention," Sariel comments lightly, standing in the doorway.

"Don't linger in doorways. It's rude. People could question your up-bringing." She smiles. "Come in."

"I had a perfectly typical upbringing for the son of a highly-ranked demon in Hell," Sariel replies, stepping inside with his usual casual grace. He steps closer to Aya-chan, lifting her chin lightly with one hand to look into her eyes for a briefly intense moment.

"The question is more how I turned out as well as I did. Mm... Didn't anyone ever tell you what a valuable commodity a soul is?"

She smiles playfully at him and leans into his touch. Until her mentions her soul.

She pulls away. "Don't."

"...Why the fuck do you feel big and bad again, Aya-chan?"

Yukio raps lightly on one wall of the house like he's testing its solidity, frowning a bit.

"It's funny you're here, I was just about to call you." She wonders if she did somehow call him. This expression say, 'I know this is going to be bad, lets just get it over with.' "I need help training my new demonic powers until I have someone exorcise them."

((For sanity sake, I'm saying that time-wise this takes place the day after her Sages thread.))

This is a good time for a cigarette. It'd be a good time for a drink, too, but Yukio doesn't have one with him. So he'll settle for just the cigarette.

"...You're not answering my question, which means it's because you did something really fucking stupid. Remind me to smack you one over the head later. 'Training' is vague. Do you just want enough control to not wreck crap, or do you want actual 'doing stuff' training?"

"No. I tried letting people hurt me after I found out my brother cut himself to deal with his pain. It didn't help me learn anything.

"I don't seem to have any trouble with the doing stuff. I just don't want to start doing stuff I don't mean to. I was startled, and a table caught fire."
