The news broadcast had mentioned that an earthquake had raised the museum out of the ocean. He knew better. Somehow he felt something wrong. He stumbled through the rubble looking for... He wasn't sure what he was looking for.

"Ran?"

He goes stiff. Slowly he straightens up and turns around. He didn't realize until he heard her voice how much he wanted her not to be here.

He closes the distance between then and reaches up to cup her cheek, stopping short of actually touching her.

"Aya, what are you doing here?"

Her vision becomes blurry. She halting tells him everything that's happened, everything that she's done since going to see Nagi.
