Aya-chan is lingering at one of the gardens near the temple, dropping pebbles in a pool of water. She watches the water ripple out

She picks up a small satchel and trudges toward the temple.

Normally the monks would be asking a strange visitor about what sort of business they had at the temple, but Aya-chan isn't strange. She looks very much like Ran-chan, and the monks are used to her visits.

The kittens, however, know that this is someone new. Aya-chan will have the calico winding around her ankles and purring if she doesn't watch out.

Whatever would she watch out for? She bends down to give the kitty pets.

"What's your name, beautiful?"

Oh, this is a nice human. This calls for more purring and an innocent meow.

Aya strokes the kitty's ears. She tries to brush her cheek against the kitten's soft fur. She reaches into the satchel to tear a small strip of beef from the lucnh she intended to share with Sanzo.
