Re-reading this story just keeps reminding me how much I love, love, love your characterization of Ratchet. Steady, snarky, and so capable-- you have a great way of working his experiences and expertise as 'medic' into all sorts of little observations.
As for character interactions: this last section in particular showcases how comfortable he's become in the Constructicons' presence. Curious about the new occurrences but not worried --- Mmmm. <33 What a perfect way to end a Sunday.

Hee - Bonecrusher is so...blunt and scary and charming, lol. And Ratchet just rolls with it all, so awesome ^^ Interface with an entire combined gestalt? You'd have to be insane. Oh well, and he shrugs and starts feeling for wires XD
