Irrational fear of indoor plumbing!

Goodness I hate the toilet out in the hall.  Sometimes when it flushes, the stopper doesn't go down and the thing will keep running.  This what happened but the stopper went down so I was playing in toilet water trying to figure how to keep the thing from running.  Lucky I did, and now I think the toilet will blow up next time it flushes

what you did to stop it running is correct. had a somewhat similar incident over the summer and my mom taught me what to do. also, there are few toilet troubles that can compare with those in barclay. the stories that can be told.

though i did cause the dishwasher to flood earlier tonight. but that was because i put too much soap in. apparently dish wash soap and dishwasher detergent require different amounts to clean. i learned that the hard way.

also, physics is a very confusing subject. i could spend too much time pondering the universe. i couldn't be that major because i'd get lost in thought more than i would get things accomplished. but did you know, that in austrelia, the toilet drains go the opposite way!?
