is it egotistical to think that a friend like likes you? i mean, there has definately been evidence, but part of me is rationalizing that i could just feel that way so i don't feel like an unattractive blob. and i hope that's what's happening, because i like friends. way more than i like relationships

it's now at the point where it's difficult for me to think about being IN a relationship, because i'm used to being single and independent.
Although if I do go to TO next year, i'm sure that'd be different.
I would say it's justified. sometimes.
But in this case, I think it is more a matter of idolization rather than a crush. Especially if "you've ruined me for other people" has been said. You're the kind of person who is wanted, but maybe not the exact model?
