i thought i'd try life in
technicolour
okay, so i CAN grow stuff. that's right, i do NOT kill every plant i touch (good thing, considering i work in a floral shop). but i feel this greenthumb pang buried really deeply, and when i try it out, it usually ends in me forgetting about plant and finding it later, either completely dead (fergus) or eaten by something (poor lil message plant).
BUT ALL OF THAT HAS CHANGED.

yeah, amaryllis is pretty sweet. and also is blooming for her first time ever! yay!
"yeah, that's shot from a low angle. it makes amaryllis look bigger than she actually is, you big lying turd."
NOT LYING.
"yeah but wicket isn't all that big." (also, quite possible the cutest thing in the world. squee. although he does look like he's about to go all cyclops-y.)
yes friend, you may be thinking of this picture
but man, is he a fattie now.
almost as wide as my thigh, and a hand and a half long now. but because i love him, i'll spare him the taunting i normally give fatties. (also note, he took a bite out of amaryllis' ONE leaf a moment after taking the adorable picture. he can't even see beauty and not want to eat it. madness.)
also, new hair. so, because i was already photologging my life,
oh man, wasn't that fun? i think so. like a storybook or something. i wish i could also give a little smell-o-vision, because i bought some new candles at work, and MAN do they smell like the most deliciousness that ever delicioused its way onto the delicious scene. too much?
