one should not be able to hear the songs someone else has appropriated to them. it's too personal. you get to see yourself from a foreign point of view, and yet you understand it. if i knew how everyone really viewed me, i doubt i'd like myself as much as i do ( Read more... )

oh dear that first bit doesn't bode well for my mix cd!!

i spent new year's watching the final few episodes of buffy (season 7 was pretty good!), listening to a whole lot of thin white duke remixes, then going to bed early (shortly after midnight). it was kinda fantastic.

ahh, but i mean more than songs you think will suit the other person.

it's hearing a song about unrequited love, and knowing the other person (whose favourite song it is) was thinking about you when they heard it. that creeps me out.

i tried watching buffy, but i (and accomplice) could only make it through 2 episodes. i still have ALL of the nathan fillion episodes to get through. i am seriously looking forward to them. because i have a thang for cap'n mal. i'm not ashamed of my love for a space pirate.

okay yeah i see what you mean now, that's a little weird.

i went through season 7 in like a week and a half. i hadn't seen season 6 since the spring but it didn't take long to get back into it. pretty great. i went through the nathan fillion episodes (i think there were like 5-6? they were the last few anyway) in the last two days and he was pretty awesome. goodtimes.
