Mouth hangs open. Thank heavens no one was hurt!
Were there storms? or was the tree just old and rotten or insect riddled?

1. August was a very wet month in our 'hood. Ground wet, tree lists harder to port.
2. Tree also kinda rotted in the middle. Snapped off cleanly @ ground level.
3. Tree removal company was coming out today to give them a removal quote.

3. As in, they'd already pre-scheduled a removal and it came down before the company could show up?

Yup. By about 24 hours.

Of course, they could have been working on it when it came down. That would have left work men crushed. As it was, it was only the house that was damaged.

Oh good lord! It's incredible nobody got hurt in all of it!
