It's been a while since the last update... I was away in Seattle, WA for the last couple of weeks.
But I did take lots of pictures while there!

Is the volcano still active ? and is a cloud / smoke at the top ?

Unlike Mt. Saint Helens, Rainier is no longer an active volcano.
The most recent eruption was about 2,200 years ago.

Excuse my ignorance :)
But, Mt. Rainer is so beautiful. Even from seattle it looks so beautiful. Its looks like its sketched in the sky.
