Ahh I really need to reread the book. I can't remember who was who. I know I could relate to the quiet, younger one though. I think I should reread it as my next book though, because I can't remember the specifics too well.

Yeah, I think that's the case for alot of folks, lol. Nathan's the younger one, and yes reread it again so I can have someone to squee with! ;)

Hmm,for me it's definitely Nathan. There is that quiet suffering and a shyness that makes him feel almost supernatural in the books. And the way he acts towards ghosts, how he isn't afraid, just curious, maybe jealous, but in a wondering kind of a way, and how he just pushes things back --like his Dad, just shuts it out--I admire that, and that he can still enjoy the moments with Roy and deal with his sexuality and all that, and then the ending, which makes you just wonder and stare and sit and think.
I just have a thing for young tortured characters/boys obv.LOL.

I couldn't agree more, his ability to build walls around himself is just so heartbreaking, but admirable. So many would crumble in those situations, but he remained a stone angel through all of it.

I agree with you, foolish_somnium.
Nathan is a wonderful character out of the feather of a wonderful writer.
