I just joined this community. I first read Dream Boy a few years ago and I was deeply affected by it. I'm really looking forward to seeing the film. The reviews I've seen so far have either been very positive or very negative, which I suppose could be a good thing. I mean, at least it seems to be a film that people respond to in one way or another

Firstly, I love your Brokeback, Maurice, and Laundrette icons! (I have tattoos pertaining to all three, hee) Plus... ::points to my username:: LOL.

To answer your question, as far as I know the film is still touring the festival circuit, so it might be a while before we get DVD news. I'm hoping to get some updated infornation soon, fingers crossed!

Thank you! We seem to have quite a few interests in common, don't we? Your lovely username hinted at one right away... I had a peek at your journal and read the post about your Brokeback tattoo. It sounds wonderful. I've been thinking about getting one. I guess that's just about the only Brokeback-obsessed thing I haven't done over the last few years LOL. I'm really curious about your other tattoos now...

I'm sure we'll hear something about the dvd sooner or later.

I'm pretty sure the DVD will come out in January '09. Or sometime in early '09. I remember reading it somewhere (I think). But don't quote me on it!
