Just stuff

Sometimes, these MEME things can be frighteningly accurate:

For the past few days, I've been leaving my dogs outside at night because A) Tex pisses on my carpet nearly every night and B) She's in heat so she's leaving little red stains on furniture that I don't want to have to go around cleaning up. Keeping her outside means I get to avoid that nastiness. I sometimes wonder if she hates me or not because I can't fathom why she can't stop pissing in my house. I let her out two to three times before I go to bed and she still manages to have enough left in her bladder to stain my carpet. So, just to confirm the fact that my dog hates me, I let her stay inside last night. Sure enough, I woke up to a yellow puddle in the living room, a pile of poo in the dining room and SURPRISE a knocked over trash can in the kitchen. How she pulled all this off without me hearing anything, I have no idea. But yeah, I'm pretty sure she hates me now. She pretends to care, but the truth is, she's a seething pile of hate and ANGST! The sad part about this is that I have to put Misty out with her so Misty is being punished by being forced to sleep outside when she's a good dog and she perfers to sleep on the couch. My heart goes out to her. However, it's an outdoors bedtime for forever more unless it's just too damn cold or nasty out.

We saw M:I 3 last night. It was a good action movie. Why is it that Tom Cruise can play such a normal happy person in the movies, but be so completely FUBAR'D in real life? I mean, the Ethan Hunt character he plays has got his shit together. Sure, he's fictional, but otherwise, he's very well-adjusted. No so for Tommy-boy. That dude is wakko! Scientology this, jump up and down and attack Oprah that, make stupid faces at people and then ask the media to leave you alone. WTF? Lets face it crew, Tom Cruise is a nutcase.

In relevance to a conversation I had with Nekodachaos last night after the movie: Why is it that everyone who gets hit by a car leaves behind a shoe? I mean, I've been hit by a car and I left behind a shoe and so hasn't every person I've ever seen hit by a car. That dude on the CD in torquefactor's truck was right. There's always this one shoe... I can't explain it, I just know it happens.

Speaking of strange things... Has anyone noticed that the portkey on i-85 North just before the E. Blvd. exit has returned? The other day it was a purple chevy. I wonder what it will be today.

I just realized, the day was going by wonderfully fast until I started running out of things to do. Now it's crawling.

Oh! The showcase! I'm sure you're all wondering how that went (not that you haven't already read it on other people's journals or anything right?).

Well, it went wonderfully. Asjachyld and I danced a wonderful Foxtrot and many observers have commented that we were the smoothest dancers in the show. That's a big compliment. If you understand how much effort it takes to move smoothly, you know how big of one it really is. Moving smooth is the most unnatural movement. It's more unnatural than rolling your hips for latin motion. You have to bend your knees, reach out your step without shifting your weight, then push forward with your back foot until you can't avoid shifting your weight anymore, then you have to pull your back foot forward, brushing past the forward foot and repeat the process all over again. Oh! And you have to take very exaggerated heal leads with each step. It isn't just hard, it actually hurts to do it!

And, yeah, I just ran out.
