1) No elected official should ever serve for more than two terms in office. Being a politician is not a career people. It's a time of public service. Once you've done your two terms, you can run for a different office, but you can't be governor or whatnot ever again

Number two is a good one. To help with the taxes issues, people who want to donate should. The donations then would be split equally by the parties that are running. Also I think that each canidate's name should be equally distributed So that each of their voices can be heard equally by the voters.

An opinion is like an asshole and everyone has one heres a view of mine. I heard somewhere that Benjamin Franklin (I do believe but it wouldnt take much to convince me that I am wrong) said that the goverment should be overthrown every 10 (or was it 50 I believe its one or the other) years. I guess I should have better researched it or something as I just used it but hey I am a little lazy. It is noteworthy though that the book is very hard to find in print. On the flip side (the twisted polyanna side of me that is) this country is the best that is out there, again in my opinion. Something else of interest is this: A goverment is ran by humans so is therefore subject to corruption so would a good goverment be one in which there is a managable level of corruption? And is that a true reflection of ours? I do believe so.
