And sometimes it's the little, unexpected (meaningless but fun) things.

Today I learned there is such a thing as 'vector lineart' and that it's rather simple to do, just very time-consuming.

So, of course, I had to give it a go and whom better to experiment on than Edward Elric? ;)

Seriously though, I rec Pixiv and some other obscure Japanese fanart sites ('obscure' only because it's anyone's guess what's written there.) They have some of the best fanart out there - y'know the kind where you really stop and stare.

It's awesome like Painting with Numbers: anyone with patience (and in this case loads of Crtl+Z) can do it. XD So, seeing as I've always been fascinated by drawings of different kinds - but just don't have talent for it - this is quite like a Xmas gift. ;)
