I am totally addicted to Shmups: vertical or horizontal scrolling space shooters...and a few that are based more in fantasy or psychedelia. I've got literally hundreds of the things lying around, primarily in ROMs for various systems, and a boatload for arcade (usually the best IMHO). Although I'd seen the anime and prequel, it was about time... Ichi the Killer is a fantastic film, saturated with gore, squeamish situations, and brutal violence. But despite the amount of time Miike spends with this type of scene, there is ALWAYS an underlying point to the film. Really pumped to track down Audition and Gozu when I get the chance.
