Are all Italian names so pretty sounding?

[8D He's totally cute! If prolly like ten years older than her sob.]

[Younger than Ezio...as messed up as that is.]

[PIME TARADOX?]

What's your wife's name? And your daughter?

[This is nicer to think about than getting lasered. 8( She'd rather dream about going to Italy than remember being stuck here.]

[Gotta love 'em. Not.]

Maria is my lovely wife, and Claudia my beloved daughter.

[He'd take you home with him in a heartbeat, Moa. He really would.]

[Aww, Daddy Gio ;o; She would love that. Of course, she has a pretty rosy view of Earth that would need to be shattered, but she'd pull through. Also she'd want to wear floofy dresses.]

Maria and Claudia. There are a lot of "i"s...

[We ponder this naming scheme. Italian has a lot of vowels.]

Coder language doesn't have any vowels in it.

[You can go shopping with Claudia. Just don't eat TOO big a whole in his money pouch. >.>]

Hmm, I suppose we do. At least it's not as bad as Latin--there are a lot of "us"es at the end of words.

[YAAY SHOPPING 8D How big is too big....? 83]

Latin.....

That's what's on the signs here, isn't it? And what the city names come from...

Yes, it seems that way.

Do you know it? Can we learn it?

Would you teach me? Please? [I am cute, yes? <3 ] Where do they speak Latin? In....Lat?

Latin? You want me to teach you Latin? [Oh, Dio mio.] The priest would know it better than I...

Latin was spoken in ancient times, in various places. Rome is where it still lingers; the Church uses it still for sermons in many places.

Oh...the priest? [She doesn't know much about religion. It wasn't really a thing in Orokos - the Coders had their machine god, but they were the minority, the social outcasts. She's learned a bit about Christianity and God, but not much...]

So you don't use it really anymore. I guess there's not really any reason to know it...[ponder.]

Not really... though as I said the priests and holy orders still use it, and it is still found in written pieces... But it isn't widely used around the world. Not that it doesn't have it's uses...
