A long time ago, when I was still new here, we had a group of people responsible for helping newcomers. They were called...scouts, or escorts, or something that sounded like that. It would take time away from the Inventory but I am a good choice to escort. I know the city perfectly and can keep people safe. I enjoy it as well. I've done it in the past.

The arrivals tend to get here weekly, most of them on one of two days. I could just take one of those days off to help new arrivals and still spend the normal amount of time in Inventory every other day.
