So, being away from the stresses of work (well, mostly, I am still getting news from work even on vacation, and let's just say it won't be pretty when I get back on Monday) has given me a bit of time to do some reflecting

I completely understand the feeling of restlessness even though you've gone through school. And if thats' what you want to do, I think you should go back to school for something else. You are still young, you will take college more seriously now that youre older ( I know I did, thast' why I didnt go to school right away after high school) and you are single, and not settled into a house or anything keeping you down. We're all still in the time in our lives where we are finding ourselves and you should explore as much as possible. it's very difficult to pick out something you think would fascinate you enough to do for a livign for the rest of your life. It seems like nothing fits that category but you just pick something and go for it. That's what I did, and it worked out for me so far. But sometimes i feel like you, restless..... Good luck! Hope your enjoying Minnesota!
I am having a good time. I have spent most of my vacation on my grandparent's back porch reading. Read about 3 books or so. Might be able to squeeze out another one before I get home late Saturday night.
Speaking of, is anyone going to be around on Sunday? I could use a stop at Cornerstone to try and get me prepared for work on Monday ... blech.
But yeah, if my job does not start getting better soon, I am seriously contemplating quitting it and moving somewhere else. Perhaps somewhere to the west, I'd like to get off the East Coast. I have actually been looking at Wyoming. They only have one university there, but it seems to be a pretty good school, and people are more or less rather satisfied with it. Also, once you obtain resident status, undergrad credits are dirt cheap! I think they were about $94 for a credit hour ... it's rather hard to beat that kind of price. Still not sure what I will study though.
The problem with staying in Harrisburg is that it already feels like it was all for naught (not speaking in regard to your friendship of course). But in terms of work, meh, so I have a position with the state, yeah, it's got job security and benefits ... but overall, it's not really adding a whole lot to life. The only thing continuing to stay with the state will get me is more saved up in my retirement account, and that doesn't matter a whole lot to me

I think what Nic is trying to say is that he is going to miss you when you leave. "Dont go Ryan! Im here!" :) We would all miss you. But I've been to Wyoming, it is absolutely gorgeous out there. I would say Wyoming and Colorado were my favorite two states. It shouldnt take much to get residency there.
Grad school is nice when your work is paying for it...
Jen will be around thsi weekend. I am actually in Altoona right now but I might be up by Sunday night. I know she is itching to get out. She has called me and she is sick of studying... :) But Im not around to hang out. No one really is. Call me Sun and we'll see if we can all go to Cornerstone...
Im sure that your grandparents love that you are visiting them. I am picturing this older house with a open front porch with you sitting in a rocking chair, reading, in front of a picturesque view. And your grandma bringing you lemonade. Sounds relaxing
Actually, my grades ended up being all right. I think I had a B - that last semester ... not the greatest, but not horrible.
I don't know how I got that grade. She definitely just gave it to me because she felt bad. Do you even still speak to noji sensei? I wonder how she is doing.
Also, come and visit or I will hunt you down and destroy you.

although your grades in the class probably would not help back it up.
