Like, if only you didn't pause for a drink before leaving the house, would you have managed to catch the bus? Or, if only you had been home five minutes earlier, maybe you would have been just in time to save someone'

Your entry reminded me of something I once read about Sept 11th. I will be posting it to my blog.

I assume this is fiction? I do hope so.

I think every survivor of a loss blames themself though perhaps the person in your story has more reason for self-blame than others.

The truth is, we never can know when it's important to not delay.
