Happy Easter. Just to keep a smile on my parent's faces, I went to church. Yes, I did sit through an hour and half of a balding priest trying to press his views on me and watching him sweat it out when no one laughed at his wise cracks. we place Him above us because he died for us, so that we could be forgiven for our sins. that is why we put Him above us. he is completely man, and completely divine. its a difficult concept to grasp, which is why its the word faith comes up so much. it can't be proven, you just have to have faith that christianity is true.

people usually devote there lives to religion because it helps answer questions they have about life and helps make them feel comfortable and significant, as well as being part of a community.

See, I learned all that in the nine years I attended a Catholic school, but.. I honestly think that school ruined my faith, or lack thereof now.

just have an open mind about it. you don't have to go to church and spend lots of time praying to be close to god. i went to Episcopalian school for 7 years and it tought me a lot about my faith. i know exactly what Christianity is all about and can see through all the bullshit that people try to pass it off as. just have an open mind and remember that faith is meant to improve your life and not be a burden.

Of course I remember you! I haven't seen you since what.. that show in August at the Lewiston National Guard? And I for sure like Thursday and I've heard some Hopesfall, so I shall check out that band for you.
