You should absolutely watch it! One of the BBC's finest.

OH GOD THE FEELS. I think that it was probably a slight error watching all of S2 in the space of 3 days because it has left me somewhat shell-shocked and in serious need of a season 3, which apparently may not ever happen. Although, realistically, all I need is a Christmas special where Bel and Freddie ride off into the sunset together and I'll be happy. I am fairly certain that if they do a third season then Ben will be in it cause he's one of the main draws for the BBC in terms of their cast. But apparently it's his schedule that may be problematic? Whatever. I say it's only 6 hours of television. MAN UP BEN!

This is an excellent post and I agree with it wholeheartedly.

I figured I should start the new year with a new season of something and wanted to spread the episodes out, but that didn't happen because I was reminded of just HOW PHENOMENAL THE SERIES IS AND HOW MUCH I SHIP IT by the end of the first ep ( ... )

Since we share Revenge and The Hour, clearly this means that we have superb taste. I just saw a promo for a show called Deception which looks very Revenge-y so I think I'll be giving that a try. I believe that the premier is tonight so I will let you know. Although, if you decide to watch it then you can let me know ( ... )

For sure, we have exquisite taste in all things TV. I have heard talk of Deception and its similarities to Revenge, and ngl I'm in two minds about it. So many shows, so little time. Did you end up seeing it? What did you think ( ... )

I do agree with them 100% though, that's why I reblogged the post and attached them there :) Sure! I don't have time to read it now, but I'm adding you and I'm gonna read it soon! :) AND YES FREDDIE AND BEL ARE PERFECT!!

Sorry! I must have set incoming messages to friends only. Thank you for replying anyway. :)

Ooh, I see, I'm not a tumblr regular, so tracking down the original source of the posts/comments can get tricky for me with all the different layouts.

It's enough for me that you share your friends' views, though, and I'm definitely adding you back. I feel like a need a good dose of fandom therapy to process all these Freddie/Bel feelings!

THE WAY HIS HAPPY PLACE WHILE GETTING BEATEN UP WAS HIS FIRST KISS WITH BEL, I CANNOT DEAL.

FUCK.

FUCK.

I feel ike that Emma Stone gif myself. It has been years since anything has made me really physically cry while watching.

The writing was terrible in the second season. First one was perfect and this one was terrible. And we know what THEY do when they start to have bad writing. They turn to cheap tricks, they press the buttons. They hurt characters. They hurt him... aaaoooohhhh.... no.... FUCK. I hate them. I sit here and cry like a stupid person...

OMG, I'm sorry you hated S2 so much because I LOVED it, even though the ending BROKE ME AND BURNED ME AND BROKE ME SOME MORE JUST TO BE SURE.

The signatures on the petition are close to 5000, so maybe it will have an impact & they'll bring the show back AND FIX IT ALL FOR ME after Romola has had her baby.

I don't know - I'm not sure exactly why I loved the first season so much and why I didn't like the second. I didn't have a problem with any of the storylines... I thought to myself that the dialogues were written badly but maybe it wasn't it... Maybe they just dedicated too much time to action and too little to the characters... Anyway it's more of a feeling...

But it's not about season three for me. Tremendously painful as it was, it was an open ending... I can draw my own in my mind... James Bond was beaten badly so many times. :)

Well... It IS an open ending... And maybe I needed these tears given the recent turmoil in my life... Point still stands though... *weep*

I know what you mean... when I'm going through a rough patch, I appreciate a good cry like that too. What's going on? :(

Everything really. Uncertainty in job, life, relationship... Last one hurts the most.

And this is telling because I've been practically unemployed for almost two years after graduation (now I'm doing an internship with no guarantees). And still THAT pain is stronger...
