So Revenge has been back for three weeks, and it just kept getting better with every episode. I'm glad I finally have a chance to express my abundant feelings about it! This contains spoilers for the latest two episodes which I loved a lot

It seems to me like Padma has a very bad conscience. If she knew Nolan knew about the Initiative, I think that would change things and she might tell him what they are blackmailing her with. I think she truly likes him. Depending on when they started using her, it was either after they started their friendship/relationship which is bitter or it's the cliché where they planted her there and she fell for him. But from my interpretation of what I saw, it doesn't seem like Padma is a very willing partner in this whole scheme.

As for Aiden - can't really see it coming. I think ultimately Nolan and Amanda will stay Emily's only loyal friends.

Ooh, you're right, she has no idea that Nolan knows. On the other hand, it would be risky to tell her because she might blab it to them under pressure & the Initiative might take... measures.

I still believe they will, by the way. Take measures to get that final sequence straight out of Nolan's brain by any means necessary. /shudder

I was also wondering when it all started. During their conversation in low lights, Emily suggested that Padma was planted there to orchestrate the whole shebang leading to the GG's acquisition of NolCorp.

Now, I'd definitely feel better about it if her sentiments were genuine first and then the Initiative zeroed in on her (threatening to do something to her or someone important to her) because my heart would break for Nolan less, and I like that version more... but I'd probably bet on the "plant from the get go & fell for him s/l" if I had to.

I think they will torture Nolan unless he and Ems are clever enough to somehow escape and outwit them.

This show enjoys causing me pain by making my favourite suffer, so I think it's very possible. Let's face it, this blackout is HAPPENING because hello epic episode prospects. If it won't be Nolan who cracks, they might blackmail Marco into do it by kidnapping/torturing Nolan.

Yeah, it's just a matter of WHEN she became one... was she deceiving him from the start. Whether their relationship was tainted from the beginning.

... she does indeed care for Nolan and she might not have anticipated that at all.This is a sure thing, though. I think this will be important when, like you say, there will come a time when she needs to make a choice - and yes, maybe even a sacrifice - for him, and I do believe her sympathies for him will be a major determinator. I'd go as far as to say that when push comes to shove, he will try not to let her trade her life

Anyone else wonder if there's like... a listening device in that key chain Padma gave Nolan? (not the house, just the key chain. She had no way of knowing that Nolan would buy the house so what's the point in bugging that first?) Never keep keepsakes from betrayers. Never! Hmm... the problem with that theory is that Aiden knows what Colleen looks like - he's been carrying her picture with him - and he'd also recognize her voice. I'm more inclined to think that this video was shot ages ago. Or that Colleen has long gone dark side & was in on the whole thing... that would break Aiden's heart even more than her dying imo because his decade-long struggle to find her would have been for nothing

Wasn't Colleen kidnapped as a kid? So its been years and years. She's grown up and changed and Aiden is so desperate to find his sister that he's willing to believe that's her because she knows some things that Colleen would have known. That's my theory, anyway

YES to all your Emily/Nolan original Revenge buddies feels. I've really been missing that vibe in the last few episodes. I don't really have strong feelings about Aiden other than being pleased that Emily finally had someone she could be with whilst being honest, but I don't think that I'm going to miss him if he goes. I knew instantly that it was N/E doing the abducting cause it was too awesome to be anybody else

I just missed my bbs N/E scheming together. When Emily told Aiden she wanted to see him because she "needed an honest moment", I kind of wanted to throw things because THAT IS WHAT YOU'VE HAD WITH NOLAN ALL ALONG, Ems, why don't you talk to HIM. The fact that I thought it was Colleen rather than Nolan&Ems who kidnapped Aiden&Helen goes to show that I got used to my OTP barely working together. I've never been more glad to be wrong! ;)

I hope that Emily makes her pay in a spectacular way for fucking with Nolan.

Emily's just getting further and further into places that she'll never recover from.Isn't that so entirely tragic? I love how honest the show is about the destructive path of revenge she has chosen for herself. It broke my heart when she wondered to Aiden if people like her could ever find happiness

I am not surprised that you missed them! I did too. I think that Emily thinks of Nolan as a BFF and although she respects that I genuinely believe that she was terrified of Nolan getting hurt and that's why she put distance between them. And there is unfinished business with her and Aiden after all!

YES, the reason for their separation was so beautiful though, her letting him go so he could have a life of his own & wouldn't have to be her 24/7 sidekick anymore, and him realizing he didn't really MEAN it that way. OH MY N/E HEART. They should really talk about this again.

I DID. I mean, clearly she's not missing out on much given how screwed up Jack & Amanda's life together is turning out, but. She clearly must be questioning her life choices at that moment. I think it also has to do with her being emotional over Aiden letting her down... again.

For some reason, people are convinced it will be Connie. I find it hard to picture him aboard the Amanda, but you never know with this show...

I loved that, but I also agree with Aiden's "Good to have you on the team" to Nolan. Um, no, Aiden. Just no.

Also, Nolan was shooting a gun for the first time outside the range to protect Emily's identity
(and did a pretty good job doing it), even though he's generally opposed to weapons!
Oh hey, I didn't even think of that! He'll really do anything for her.

Really, Aiden should know better than to trust the Initiative... that video could be years old, or they could have revived Colleen as soon as the camera was off.
