Me as I watched them broadcast the Genoa story live on air:
The entire season has been leading up to this moment, but it still was pretty difficult to watch a professional journalist's nightmare play out for all these characters. When Mac looked at Jerry and told him simply, "You forgot about the shot clock", my heart sank. So anyone can doctor a tape to accuse the government of chemical warfare only to sue for wrongful termination & get a huge load of money when they get caught?? THE WORLD MAKES NO SENSE TO ME.
The scene with Leona was pretty badass. I'm glad she stood up for her team & declared her love for ACN.
I could have done without "McMac" tho, what was up with that.
On the whole, I have to say that I love the structure, the focus of the show this year. It all fits neatly together like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. I was actually sad to learn that there is no new episode this week, which goes to show the level on which my relationship with The Newsroom has been redefined.
