That was one heck of a Season Premiere! It reminded me what it's like to want to re-watch the episode the second the credits start rolling... over & over again. I loved Sunil's writing back when he co-wrote Masquerade with JaSheika James, and I appreciated its smooth flow & how solid it was about setting up the season in Fear even more. And how

I actually took this to tumblr in a fit of passion & got almost 30 notes, which baffled & impressed me greately b/c I never expected the tumblr fandom to care for reviews.
I still want to hold onto that hope that the writers are actually gonna go there someday. IT MAKES THE MOST SENSE OK, NOBODY CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE.
Yes, they are the only endgame that makes sense to me, and most importantly, IS WORTH ROOTING FOR. Cause I sure as hell am not watching this show for Jack/Emily or Aiden/Emily, thank you very much. The way things were in S3P was perfect.
Tho, I swear I saw a clip where Nolan says something about hurting her again and he says understood.
That clip is from S2! So now is actually the time for Nolan to make good on his promise & make him PAY, I would watch that.
If the producers are as into Aiden/Emily as I recall you mentioning, they can't have him ( ... )

And Patrick is Smallville's Green Arrow! That was a nice surprise. Still with just as good a body as ever.
S3 looks like it's going to be a S1-type thrill ride. Awesomeness.
re: Jack
Yeah, it's not out of character at all. And more than fitting his character, it actually seems to be part of that general character type. It seems like that character -- the childhood crush -- often seems to come with a cruel streak. Characters like Dawson Leery (Dawson's Creek) or Matt Donovan (Vampire Diaries) exhibit similar mean streaks when they're pissed off at the girls they're supposed to love.

Patrick... yes. Definitely very easy on the eyes. I wonder if he's the one who will have a steamy affair with Nolan? Don't mind if I do.

I haven't seen Dawson's Creek, but I totally agree with you about Matt. I like that the characters are being consistent about it. At this point, I just don't see how someone like Jack could EVER forgive Emily. If they go there, it will be very hard for them to sell it to me ( ... )
