Drabble Meme - Five Things - WIP

Unfortunately, mostly everyone knows about Aislin's secrests.
1: SAM IS AISLIN'S COUSIN
Cornsilk hair, porcelin skin and rosy lips all sewn together in a pretty green dress. Mama tells her to play nice, and she is obedient sometimes.
She is obedient when Samantha doesn’t have prettier hair, which grabs the attention of others (even though Aislin will always have prettier eyes).
She is obedient when Samantha’s cheeks aren’t flushed and pink, which makes Aislin look palid (although at least Aislin never looks unruly).
She is obedient when Samantha doesn’t chatter, which makes Aislin look comparably shy (but at least she knows her place).
Because after all, doesn't envy always dress in green?
2: AISLIN USED TO BE GOOD FRIENDS WITH ANNABELLE RICHARDS
"You’ll write after you’re sorted, won't you? As soon as you’re sorted, so I know how it went?”
So I can tell Mama, so I can know that we’ll always be together, especially when I go there next year. So I can rejoice.
A smile, some tears. Reassurances, and hugs. Promises. Promises which are so easily made and broken, though slim digits had met in some type of winding union.
Vows broken as she waits for the letter which does not arrive the next night, though she had waited.
And again as it takes a week.
