I can't believe that I actually signed on livejournal for a change, but I'm glad I did.

I know exactly where you're coming from dude. I came from the same situation when I was younger- my mom and I lived in poverty when it was just us, yet I was never hungry. Luckily, I was pretty good at baseball, so that has sort of become my escape for the past 14 or so years. We really are blessed.

But within the past half year or so, I've come to the same realization. No one is going to give me a baseball contract that will set me for life; thankfully I was given a car, but that is an exception. We both just need to set our eyes a little more forward, but a little more umph behind the things we do, and trust in God. With determination and the skills He blessed you with, you can make it man, I know it.

But as far as basketball, now that is a different story...
