Can't Get Enough of Your Love Baby
It's about that time again... Time for The Friday Five:
1. Who was your first kiss (your mom does not count)?
Mark Treadray. It was at Windycon I think. November for certain. I think the year was 1990... OMG I'm old. I can't remember much else. He became my first boyfriend and we dated for a while. It was the start of a running joke that didn't end til I moved to Oregon. "Which guy will Jenna date from this year's Windycon?!" Gotta love con romances... He spoiled me for future guys by doing really nice things. He managed to get on the radio and dedicate a song to me. He's about to have his first kid in a couple weeks. I'm so excited for him and glad he and I are still friends.
2. What is your idea of the perfect date?
This is a hard one cause I love to do so many things. I think a perfect date would be a complete surprize. If the person spends enough time getting to know you and learning about the things you like, a perfect date could be planned. Like surprising me with dinner at one of my favorite places to eat, then taking me to see a show I've been dying to see (FYI Wicked) and then maybe a walk through a park or somewhere equally open where I can stop and just stare at the sky. Either way, the more of a surprize it is, the more perfect it will be. Especially if he took the time out to plan on doing things I love doing. And flowers. Somewhere over the course of the date, flowers would need to be obtained and given. Personally, I'd prefer they were given during a moment of spontaneity than planned. I think Chad gets the spontaneous flower giving award for now.
3. What music needs to be on when you are "getting your thang on"?
I don't NEED music but it's always nice to have it on. Lately the only time music has been on was when there was a pretty good chance I was going to be a tad bit too loud and the roommates were home. I'm not too picky about what I listen to but definitely something good that doesn't put the wrong kind of images in my head.
4. What is the most amazing experience you've ever shared with a partner?
This is a hard one. I've shared a ton of amazing experiences but not all of them were with people I would consider my partners. I once was talking on the phone with someone while lying on my car watching a meteor shower. Again, he wasn't my partner, but it was pretty amazing.
5. Sex is best saved for: love, marriage, alcohol, days that end in "y"?
Neither. Best saved for relationships. I've had enough sex without commitment. I'm done. While love would be a great thing to wait for, I like sex and have no patience. Waiting til marriage, meh, I'm divorced. Alcohol sex is fun but it's not something I'm in the habit of doing anymore. At least not with random people. I'll have drunken sex with my guy anytime. Days that end in "Y" is probably the closest answer for me, considering I have a boyfriend.
