Without further adieu...
Honey, I'm Home!
1. How many places have you lived in your life?
Oh god, this is a rough one. We moved around a lot when I was younger. I've only ever lived in two states. Oregon and Illinois. I've lived in eight different cities. Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Villa Park, Addison and Chicago IL. Ashland and Portland, OR. I lived in a ton of different places around the north side of Chicago. I really don't wanna count. I had three different apartments in Portland but all in the same complex. 2BR to 1BR to 2BR. I've always lived in an apartment. Though there was brief stint where we lived with my grandmother, in her house. I did live in a dorm when I attended SOU in Ashland.
2. Which was your favorite and why and what street was it on?
I loved my 2 bedroom apartment in Portland, OR the most. I lived on Garden Home Road. The apartment was so spacious and so cheap! I loved it. I think I just loved it because it was my first taste of real freedom and independence. I'd spent so much time with roommates and that was my first time being truly on my own.
3. If you could live anywhere for the rest of your life, where would it be?
You know, my boyfriend asked me thing question last Friday. I couldn't answer him. I haven't been everywhere so I can't say where I'd want to spend the rest of my life living. I think I'll still his answer and say I'd be a nomad and live everywhere and nowhere all at once. I'd have to roam, gypsy style.
4. What would your ideal home have in it?
A happy, loving family. I'm not too into possessions so I don't think there's anything solid I would need. But when I finally make a home with someone, my home is going to have a lot of laughter in it. And the house has to have a porch, complete with swing. I need a porch swing.
5. Can you describe your current crib?
It's a sweet little one bedroom apartment in Addison, IL. It's got beige carpet. It's fairly spacious for being a one bedroom. I'm getting an amazing deal on rent, so I can't complain. It's filled with random stuff. things I own, things my sister owns but is "loaning" to me and stuff I've inherited. I have my posters up. Some of my toys are on display. I haven't rebuilt my Star Wars toys display since I left Oregon. I need find someone handy with a drill and help me install shelves. I love my apartment. It's perfect for me.
