So, I m scheduled to head back to work in about 4 months time. It's been 7 months since the boy arrived. I can't quite believe we are going into the last quarter of the year already. There seem to be much to do in these 4 months!! The past few days I've got pple asking me what the care arrangement for the boy would be like after I go back to work. ( Read more... )

my husb travels a fair bit for work but he makes it a point to take the earliest flight back whenever he can. if possible, he'll try to take a day off in the week or after his return to spend more time with baby and i. he does try his best to spend as much time with baby as possible. so far, it seems that most, if not all of my friends' husbands play an active parenting role.

my folks help look after thaddeus whenever we have something on and when we travel. it helps that we stay together under the same roof, so they see for themselves how i do things around thaddeus and how fussy i am over certain things. so far, they do follow my routine and schedule as much as they can.

so i guess if i have to go back to work, it won't be too much of a transition for thaddeus since he sees them quite often as it is now. :)

It's good that your parents know Thaddeus' routines well! My folks can't really follow through the routine so it's hard to let them take over the care entirely. But guess we got to start some where. So I've got some work to do here!
