I'm in the orchestra office, and our last regular Philharmonia rehearsal just finished (we have a dress rehearsal yet, but that's different). And I gotta say that I'm pretty frustrated. We sound horrible. I swear we used to be good, but we just don't have these pieces down, and intoniation is a nightmare. And I know I'm saying this after asking

I know how you feel, my last youth symphony concert was watched from the audience because I had 3 absences (due to auditions) and couldn't play. They ended up combining the 1st and 2nd harp part instead of letting me play, and the girl messed them up and couldn't be heard. This is a different sityuation, but I know how it feels to go out at not your best. Just try to think of the good moments-and remember that no orchestra is good all of the time. I'll be there cheering you on, and I'm going to the SWE concert too. Want to sit with me and Dan? good luck on everything...

thanks, and yeah, I can sit with you guys. I know Julia and Jess are coming too, but I have no idea whether or not they'll want to sit in the balcony. But yeah, I'd love to sit with you :-)
