I'm in the same situation, for the first time. I thought I did really well on my last test until I realized that my score was actually below average. I don't really know what to say to make you feel better, but you're not alone.

umm... loves you? Grad school isn't for everyone. Some of us do better on the job than in the classroom. Let the never have to study kids be academics.

I'm really sorry to hear that, lady. It's unfortunate that you're in an educational area that's notoriously filled with incredibly intelligent people. But, hell, I doubt you'd be happy being at the top of sorority girl business major group, right?

Just to survive where you are is a huge accomplishment that most people couldn't do...

Don't get discouraged about grad school...you will find a place with your research that will lead to success, and your work will be valuable to others. Could someone else do it better? Maybe, but that's not the point.

At the risk of sounding cliché... showing up is 90% of the job. Or something like that. An analogy can be found in music. The people you see on stage aren't necessarily the best musicians. They are the ones with the drive to step up to the challenge and fill a role that needs to be filled.

Don't take any of that the wrong way...
