i have different views of the plastic surgery shows. the famous face one just strikes me as stupid, and i find the people on it to be irritating and creepy. because they don't just want to be better/happier versions of themselves, they want to be someone else, and i always think how weird it must be to be a celebrity and watch someone getting plastic surgery to steal your face ( ... )

and i completely understand the damn emotional involvement in tv shows. i'm hooked on so many relatively bad shows because i started, and now need to know what happens. shows that don't have continuing stories are better, because if i start it, i may need to finish that episode, but i don't necessarily need to come back the next week. but if it's to be continued, oh man. i'm screwed.
