Who is he? Sorry for complete lack of knowledge on my part here, but I could really need some new music in my life, so I am on the look-out for album and song recs.

Completely unrelated, but DID I send you an email a couple of days ago? I cannot seem to find it in my email folder, but please tell me I was not that drunk that I dreamt up sending it, lol.

Fyfe is the guillemots lead singer, and this is his first solo album. he simply writes the most beautiful music ive ever had the pleasure of listening to. guillemots stuff is very ecletic - ranging anywhere from lovely accoustic guitar stuff, to full latin/jazz influenced dance stuff. they are probably one the of the most creative bands out there at the moment - you never quite know what they are going to come up with next or what new whacky instrument/household item is going to end up in the next song. they walk that fine line between making a complete racket and making the most beautiful music ive ever heard - and they mostly stay on the right side of it - theres been the odd occasion (mostly live) when its gone a little wrong ( ... )

Ohhh, I had a listen by now and his songs sound really beautiful, so thank you! Will order the album as soon as I get my next pay. :) I have a definite need for something beautiful at the moment.

Glad to hear I'm not making things up yet, lol!
