Appearance: She’s tiny, around 4’9”, with pale skin and short dark hair, and dark eyes. She really likes the Lolita style of dress, and wears thigh high striped stockings, tiny mini skirts, and lots of ruffles. She loves cute things, and wearing cute things. In her Noah form her skin is dark gray, her hair is spiky, her eyes turn gold, and a pattern of crosses reminiscent of a crown of thorns appears on her forehead.
Personality: Black: She’s a sadist. She hates humans and Innocence and is quite perky about the plan to destroy the world. She’s vicious, but cutesy, often acting like a kid. Almost never seen without some form of candy, usually a lollipop, she tends to be rather bored and aloof-only getting excited over interesting developments, which pretty much usually include someone else suffering. She views exorcists seemingly as playthings, even going so far as to dress up a catatonic Lenalee like a doll, her view on humanity is much the same; things. Just things. Not really people, they’re inferior. Exorcists are at least interesting. The one exception is Allen, who she likes quite a bit, even speaking of him with a fond voice and going so far as to kiss him in greeting, she doesn’t forget that he’s an enemy, but she does have an attachment to him. Other than Allen she cares for her family, adoring Cyril and the Earl with glomps and cuddles, and at least in the Earl’s case, kisses. When one of them dies, whether she’s emotionally attached or not, the Noah within her cries.
She’s protective of Tyki, and vengeful when he’s hurt, however her vicious form of vengeance is far calmer than you might think; while she expresses her anger, she is oddly calm and controlled. She also enjoys fucking with people, inflicting physical, mental and emotional pain. As the Noah of dreams, she delights in breaking people’s spirits and hearts. Psychological torment excites her just as much as seeing someone bleed.
Rhode likes to play “games” with people. Usually these games end up with them hurt and bloody, in mental pain, or just dead. However when she agrees to the rules of a game, she’ll stick to them. If someone wins her game, they get whatever the prize was-most likely their freedom, since most of her games are conducted in the dream space she controls.
White: We don’t actually know much about Rhode’s white side. She lives with her “Papa” Cyril, another Noah who adopted her. Cyril is Tyki’s brother, making Tyki her uncle, though she often treats him more like an older brother. As a lord’s daughter she studies, goes to school, has homework and attends parties, but this part of her life isn’t really seen much at all. One can likely assume, however, that like the other Noah she’s perfectly capable of functioning in human society, probably posing as Cyril’s sweet, very slightly spoiled and bratty, daughter.
In either form she has no hesitation jumping up on the people she cares for and lavishing them with affection, just as she has no hesitation demanding what she wants. Rhode has a firm, unshakable belief in the Earl, in the Noah Family, and that what she and her family as doing is right. As the eldest awakened Noah, she does show signs of her care for the others, even if it’s in small ways. How much compassion she’s truly capable of is hard to say, since her belief in the Noah is oddly aloof, and her disdain for humans makes her white form interactions with them false by nature, but she is certainly able to be affectionate.
Abilities: Akuma: As a Noah, Rhode has control and command over Akuma. However since there’s never going to be Akuma in Neo, it’s not applicable. OR ARE THERE?
Barrier: She can enclose people/objects within a nearly unbreakable barrier, she can move the barrier at will, regardless of the weight of the objects inside-probably a kind of telekinetic power.
Telepathy: She’s seen speaking mind to mind with Lavi at one point.
Regeneration: Rhode can regenerate from any damage. Even death. Even disintegration. She claims that those who do not know her true form cannot kill her.
Candles: She can summon sharp, conical candles that hover in the air around her and obey her whim. From just hanging out for atmosphere, to plunging pointy end first into a target, to lighting a room, her candles are pretty useful.
Doors/Gates: A secondary part of her main Noah ability. Rhode is the only Noah that can create gates that traverse space-time without the Ark. Essentially she can create a door anywhere, to anywhere.
Dreams: Her Noah ability. She controls a dream space she can take people into-either their consciousness/spirit/soul, or even their whole bodies. This is a space she controls, and its shape and population comes from her own will. When she traps people in her dream space, depending on if she just trapped their spirit or their physical body, she can literally break/kill their heart with tricks and cruelty, summoning figures from their own mind and memories, or she can produce physical damage to their body if she takes their body. While interacting in the dream space-when she steals someone’s spirit-her own form and consciousness stay in the material world, able to interact as normal, but the physical body of her victim is left unconscious and immobile.
Noah form: Changing from her human form to her Noah form changes her appearance rather obviously-her skin turns dark, her eyes go from dark to yellow, and the mark of the Noah on her forehead appears. Her hair also becomes gravity-defying.

History: 7000 years ago the world was destroyed in a war, all except 14 survivors, the Noah clan, who escaped the destruction on a transdimensional ship called the Ark. The survivors landed their magical Ark in Japan. Just 14 survivors of humanity; their leader and 13 apostles. The apostles became the founders of humanity, and over the centuries the world was reborn from them, and the memories of the Noah were passed down in the genes of humans, each generation the 13 memories would awaken in certain humans.
So every human, carrying the genes of their ancestors, had the potential to “awaken” as one of the apostles. And so, for centuries, these apostles awakened in every generation to serve their leader, the Earl of Millennium. In the mid 1800s, the ninth Apostle, the Dreams of Noah, awakened in a little girl. Fast forward about 35 years to the 1890s where this little girl with the power of the Noah of Dreams encounters a young man who wields the weapon known as Innocence-the young Exorcist named Allen Walker.
Those who wield Innocence in this world are known as Exorcists, and their job is to banish and destroy weapons known as Akuma, while protecting humanity. It just so happens that the Akuma are manufactured using Dark Matter, created by the leader of the Noah, the Millennium Earl. The source and creator of the Innocence that combats the Akuma and the Noah is unknown, but among the duties of the Exorcists is the retrieval of Innocence from all around the globe. Innocence often causes strange phenomena in it's presence when it is not being wielded by an Exorcist.
Allen Walker was assigned to investigate a town said to be trapped in time, in case there was Innocence involved. Road was sent by the Millennium Earl for the same purpose, to investigate and destroy the Innocence that might be there.
She met Allen Walker when she kidnapped him and the Exorcist Lenalee with her Akuma minions. Torturing and hurting people, she had the Akuma fight Allen and Lenalee while she explained the Earl's plan. Instead of finishing them off, however, she left, letting them live when the defeated her minions.
Usually a girl who hates humans as inferior, Road took a liking to Allen in their first confrontation, and took interest in his exploits in combating the Noah thereafter.
Later on in Japan she was given the task of downloading the old Ark into a new one created by the Earl. While she did this, she and the Noah of Pleasure, Tyki, set a game for Allen and his friends, the time limit four hours, which was how long it would take for the new Ark to be complete and the old Ark destroyed. If Allen and his friends could get to the final Door she created, they could escape, if not they'd die. Of course there were perils and battles along the way.
At the end of the ‘game’ she fought Allen’s companion Lavi-she lost, and was consumed in Lavi's fire attack-only to reappear on the new Ark unharmed. Allen, however, interrupted the download at the last moment, leaving the new Ark unfinished, without its Akuma generating “egg”. The reason Allen was able to do this is because he housed he 14th Noah, the Musician and the one who controls the Ark, and the only Noah to ever betray the Earl.
However the Exorcists were not without their own casualties from the war with the Noah and the episode with the Ark. While the Noah focused on retrieving the “egg”--the thing that creates Akuma--which had failed to download when Allen interrupted, the Exorcists worked on rebuilding. And presumably during this time Road lived her life as a human for a while-As the adopted daughter of the Prime Minister of an unspecified nation (if I HAVE to say I would guess France but I intend to leave it vague until canon verifies). Her duties included attending school and being adorable for her father and at parties. Her father, Cyril Camelot/Kamelot (depending on translation), is also a Noah, the Noah of Desires. (Which makes him her younger brother. And her Uncle Tyki is also her younger brother. Don’t even ask me, I don’t know.)
After some time, the Noah family regrouped and gathered for a new assault on the Exorcists. Road went with the Earl to America to steal an artifact created using the "egg", and that's where I take her from.
False memories: Rhode is the daughter of Genkaku. She goes to public school, she’s a spoiled little princess, and she bullies the family adopted hobo Tyki into helping her with her homework. Or other family members when Tyki’s off hoboing elsewhere.
Sometimes she gets to help "Big Brother" Genkaku do his job, others she wanders off to bug Tyki and tag along with him. Still others she bothers other people CR CAN GO HERE. IF PEOPLE WANT IT.
She is a sadistic little girl when she’s with Genkaku, Nataku or Tyki, but the rest of the time she plays at being a proper little kid.
She has no idea about her powers except her candles. Which she uses, and viciously, when she can get away with it.

Holding close to the man’s neck, Rhode pressed her cheek against her victim’s, hugging him as she dangled from his shoulders and he flailed.
“You know I really hate humans.” She whispered in his ear. “Stupid weaklings should just go die.”
Dragging the knife out of his face she pressed the tip against his throat, twisting it so that it would drill into him painfully. It was going to be a pretty painful, agonizing death.
Rhode held on to the man even as he fell, watching his face as he died. Inside her that old madness bubbled up, the sick and heady feeling of watching something inferior fade before her eyes. She laughed, a sickening, twisted laugh as she tightened her hug on the man’s shoulders, plunging the knife deeper into his throat as he staggered and fell.
After a moment she got to her feet, pulling the knife out, careless of the boy's blood on her. Humans were just trash, after all. She'd wash off the filth.
“But you know. I'm human too. It really pisses me off.”
Licking the blood off the knife she bent down and pressed her fingers against the hole in the man’s face.
“You poor idiot. But you've made me feel so much better. We should play again some time, okay?” She patted his head, ruffling his hair with her bloody fingers and leaving it stained with his own blood.
