Well...from what I can remember about her, I think Belldandy only asked questions about Sasami shortly before everything went down with Doom. And conspiciously, she wasn't around when Doom finally attacked. I've got the injuries to prove it!

It does seem a bit odd, but Skuld speaks so highly of her, so unless she was evil too, I could be seen as a suspect too. People seem convinced she's evil, but to assume that from a few questions and bad timing seems...unfair and might let the real mole slip through.

There are no coincidences, but the bad timing might have been something to protect her. She says her powers are weaker here, so she might have just gotten hurt too if she was here.
