She felt his weight upon her and for a moment all the pain of the past was forgotten and every betrayal was erased with the stroke of his lips. It had been so long since she had felt his touch since she had imbibed in the scent of his skin. She gripped his shoulders closed her eyes and gave herself up to the love she had never been able to eradicate form her heart.
He had been hers so long ago. In another life she had known the strength of his embrace the possession of his kiss, and the surrender of their love and it was those memories that had brought her to his arms this night. It was those memories that had made it impossible for her to deny the need that had been reflected in his blue eyes.
His hands wrapped around her hair tightening pulling her to him. His fingers traced the contours of her face memorizing every feature and his arms imprisoned her to his body molding himself until she no longer knew were he began and she ended. Every curve and slope was his playground and his lips devoured and entrapped her soul refusing to let go claiming what had been his and only his.
Every sensation intensified every caress brought her closer to the edge and every kiss branded her skin. She wrapped her legs around his waist and felt him move deep inside of her conquering what was left of her resistance and all she could think was, “I wish this was real”.
Tomorrow would bring sanity, tomorrow would bring a goodbye she wasn’t sure she could handle but tonight, tonight she would lose herself in a pair of fathomless blue eyes.
