Very impressive! Remember, baby steps. Don't go for the gourmet stuff right away. Too many ingredients with names you probably can't pronounce. Way too stressful. I don't go there. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
I would like to hear more about this burning water incident sometime. Sounds interesting.
Good point. Maybe he should only cook things that the youngest child can pronounce. At least at first. That will leave things like water. Sounds like Jason has his hands full with that. Hee hee. Just kidding Jason. You can do it! I will try your cooking when you have had a little bit more practice...maybe.
Hey, anybody can burn water under the right circumstances! Or is is genetic? Anyway it can't be that rare 'cause I've done it :)
I detest cooking, but do it for the same reasons as you (exchange wife for husband and there you go...nice that I don't have to enter the argument on which of us has the greatest hubby...I, too, am mule-headed on this point...uh, genetics again?)
I'm not very good at cooking but for some reason I end up doing it anyways. I have found kraftfoods.com has lots of easy recipes that I can follow and when it looks a little iffy in ingredients, well I turn to the next on the list.
Hamburger Helper is pretty easy too... but then you are following after a great cook, so that might not go over well...
