I am great with coming up with ideas.  I am terrible with following through.  I could be a trillionaire by now if I didn't lack the follow through.  This idea I'm about to discuss isn't a new one for me.  It's actually one I've been thinking about for a few years now.  The subject is Woodruff Road, with all its commercial sprawl, and the traffic

I can remember a time when if you drove over I-85 (towards 14) you were officially in "the sticks", and that was only 15 or so years ago.

I could get behind a plan like this. The city should have laid this groundwork years ago when they saw the sprawl beginning. You could propose it, but the city won't run with it. Their best idea for improving public transit is taking over GTA buses, and look how well that's working out.

I'm no good with proposals, even though the plan seems sound to me. I'm sure some tweaks here and there would be needed. Expanding on your sticks thought, I can remember driving down Haywood road, pre-mall of course, was considered the sticks.
