Sadly, he's probably in for a major (undeserved) butt-chewing, simply for going against advice to take it to Jersey. The person who gave him this advice will get all pissed off and go to their superiors and raise a big stink. Nevermind that the pilot saved the lives of everyone on board...he dinged up their precious aircraft. And despite being cleared of any fault, someone will try to pin something on him; I truly hope that's not the case, but given today's litigious society, I could see it happening.

They first said the cause of the crash was bird strike. Now they're saying they don't know what caused it. If it was, in fact, bird strike, he could be in for a reaming for taking the lives of innocent animals. And don't forget the loss of aquatic life in the Hudson River. Let's hope not.
