for the foodies

out on a "date" last night to celebrate my birthday.  on the spur of the moment, we decided to try Ruth's Chris steakhouse - an upscale place serving down-home food.  we didn't have reservations, so the wait (even on a thursday evening) was annoyingly long, but they brought us complementary hors-doovers (osso bucco ravioli YUM) while we waited.
