i knew i worked for a reason

so spectacle pod, herein after referred to a "speck", doesn't seem to have a foxtail up her nose.  what she does have is at least one abcessed tooth plus a massive infection due to same.  she will be going into surgery tuesday morning.  first we have to knock the infection down a bit, and get rid of the fleas & ear mites.   poor speck!

Well, you wanted an excuse to make her an indoor cat anyway, at least with any luck P and C will be moving out soon it's as good a time as any.

i brought her inside on monday. she's made herselfcomfy in the laundry room, where the door can be shut to keep out other curious kitties. she's officially a house cat now.

give her lots of scritches and love from me. She is such a sweet little thing. I hope she has a few teeth left after the surgery!

Oh poor baby. I hope the surgery helps ease the infection and she can recover (inside?). She's getting pretty old!

yes, she is now officially an indoor cat. she's too old to have to go through this sort of thing any more.
