... but I don't expect my life, or anyone else's, to end here. Even with the threats against our lives at the moment, I fully believe we are strong enough to handle whatever's thrown at us.

I went to the prom.

I didn't think it was a waste.

I'm also a part of DATS, come from a family who's had history in DATS since I was a baby, and you bet I'm going to be fighting when crap starts happening.

Some people might think I'm goofing off when there's a serious matter going on, but you know what? There's a little bit of light in a lot of darkness, and I'm going to take the light and cherish it while I can, because as you know, a whole lot is going to start happening soon, and we may not have the time anymore for nice things like that.

So if you're going to state an opinion about the prom being a waste, go right on ahead and do so. But I'm going to state my own thoughts.

Y'know what? I'm glad you had fun and I'm glad you and everyone else are trying to do something about this problem. Something like this is utterly way over my head. I'll admit it.

I think calling it a waste is kind of insulting, really. People put hard work into that sort of thing, and from the turnout, I'd say it was a success~

I'm just saying. You can say whatever you want, but I'm going to say whatever I want as well.
