you will do beautifully, and you will see how much life there is for you to live. i want you to read a book called windblown world. it will blow your mind with optimism, and maybe a little sadness, but mostly you will just feel infinite. you are beautiful and a wonderful person to know. the world is better because you are in it.
It hurts, it's confusing and in the end, the best you can hope for is improvement as a person and the assurance that sometimes, those decisions you make...the ones that make you feel like someone just took a melon baller to you and scooped out your soul...sometimes, those are the best decisions for us. Funny, but I was just thinking about you yesterday. I heard that song "Angel" by Aerosmith on the radio and it completely brought me back to this one night when you, Mike A., and I went to this carnival and rode on a bunch of rides. You and Mike were wearing the same shirt accidentally and felt dumb, but since the shirts were black I told you guys to just pretend to be my bodyguards. The song "Angel" came on when we were all riding the "crotch-crusher," as you called it.
I know that's totally random and you probably don't even remember it, but it's one of those things that sticks out really clearly in my memory. A really happy moment, for me. I hope that whatever you're going through right now, you can look back on the moments that brought YOU happiness and feel strong.
I really hope you're doing well and even though we haven't been in touch, I'd still be totally up for going to Common Grounds some day to catch up on everything. Just throwing that out there, take care of yourself.
